| | Been there, but not recently. Quite a place if you like or need the sort of things they supply. Amazing variety of pots and other fire-clay artifacts, for sure |

| I couldn't agree with you more about where we have come from and where we seem to be going in our state and further afield in our land. Was looking through some old photographs dating to 1900 - 1960 this morning and wishing that our progression toward a more stark, fast-paced way of life could be turned back or at least slowed down. | | Marshall Pottery used to be a wonderful place to find all types of useful items/containers to use on the farm. We still have the old family crock water coolers, pitchers, bean pot, and other house -hold crock items obtained from Marshall Pottery over several generations. During the past 15 years or so, it has really changed for the worse, with tons of imports and lots of "junk". Nothing like it used to be. We used to always stop by Marshall Pottery on our trips back to Texas from Louisiana, but refrain from stopping now. Remember when....... |

That's too bad to hear. We've still hoping to go there someday. Maybe the good old stuff will still be there.
God bless, Mari |
