Here is a cabinet photo of a young lady as she posed long ago in Jefferson, Texas. Later, Miss Mollie Tuttle became a schoolteacher in Blair, Oklahoma.

Here is a link to an article about an early school in the Blair, Oklahoma, area, where Miss Mollie Tuttle is believed to have moved from Texas. Her name is mentioned there in the company of those of others who served as teachers prior to the founding of this southwestern, Oklahoma town.

Hello, Alex, and welcome sunny

I drew the occupation of 'teacher' from the back of the photograph, where it is written that Miss Tuttle was a teacher in Blair, Oklahoma, and that a previous owner had been named for her. I did run a 'beginner's' search on Mollie's genealogy and the information given appears to be correct. Hope to learn more soon.

Please to share should you happen to discover anything else relating to her Smile

Thank you,

Holly

She looks like a school teacher all right but not the kind with a hickery stick, more gentle like.
