| We'll be spending a couple of nites in Waco next month/June. I've heard the zoo is nice and a few other things but does anybody have any other places to visit they can suggest?

| | Well, Baylor has a pretty good natural history museum on campus, plus the marvelous literary collections there. Texas Ranger Museum & Hall of Fame. Dr. Pepper Museum. Just driving through the park down by the Brazos (up-stream from down town) is nice. There is the suspension bridge across the Brazos (foot traffic only these days; built by the Roeblings, like its larger cousin the Brooklyn Bridge). |

| Hi Madelyn ...
It's been a long time since I've visited Waco; another place which would be wonderful to explore at leisure!
I think that Clyde gave you some excellent leads. I've also long desired to see Waco Springs, which are said still to be visible near the suspension bridge.
Laura Trim offers a hefty section on Waco in her 'Day Trips In and Around Dallas.'
Hope great times are ahead for you all there!

| THANK YOU for your suggestions.
We ended up staying most of the time in Fairfield but checked out the bridge etc. on one afternoon.
