Though I lived in Denton County for ten years, I never learned much more about the historic potteries which once were scattered across that county ... other than that the Courthouse-on-the-Square Museum featured a display of their antique wares Sad Here are two websites -- one of which pictures an old kiln which is still standing in Cross Roads -- while the other details the archaeological excavations which were undertaken at a pottery site in Corinth.
