PostSubject: A Babb-Family Cemetery in Collin County?   Thu 25 Oct 2007, 7:21 pm

Much may be found on the Internet relating to Bianca and Dot Babb, who were abducted by Comanche Indians about 1865, from Wise County. I was aware of members of the Babb family having been buried in this county, but not of a cemetery by that name in Collin.

On the 'Texas Index of Landmarks & Vanished Communities' website, though, a 'Babbs Cemetery' is shown as existing there. I have been unable to get an e-mail through to the lady who posted information about it on the site. She does refer to the burial place at Chico, in Wise County. Could this have been an error on the 'Vanished' index in regard to the Collin-County location?

Here is a link to the listing, which is some way's down the page:

Thanks very much in advance for any clarification!
