| Does anyone remember these? They were undertaken by a driver and a navigator (sometimes husband and wife teams) through the wilds of Texas .... even out Terlingua-way, perhaps? I was a kiddo at the time, and missed out. What was it all about? Are they still being held today?

| | Rally driving is still a pretty big deal in Europe, but don't know taht tehre is much happening in that sport in teh US these days. Most Amercian rally courses were fairly short, but some weren't. Be a lot easier now with navigation systems beyoind map and stop-watch. |
