PostSubject: Before Central Expressway   Mon 09 Jul 2007, 1:10 am

I'm wondering ... what was the area bounded presently by Dallas' Central Expressway and Forest Lane like during the early 1950s?

For example, was Forest Lane paved at this time?

How wooded was the area?

What was it like when construction was begun on Central?

Wasn't the street now known as 'Clodus Fields' (I think) which runs near modern Medical City hospital naed after a man who had a farm there?

Thanks!

Holly
