| Here is a vintage postcard view of the beautiful Bexar County Courthouse, in San Antonio, about the year of 1910. The enduring structure was built of red Texas granite and red Pecos sandstone, at a cost of $600,000.

| It is quite enough considering our crisis, is it not? I expect Al Gore to be taking up a model such as that one very soon, now
Here is a more tropical view of the beautiful, Bexar-County Courthouse -- in all of its sandstone majesty -- when viewed from the Plaza sometime back:

| Oh ... and by the way, a miracle occured this past weekend, in that I was able to coax my husband into accompanying the family on a garage-sale excursion At one of our stops, we found a wonderful, vintage Schwinn bicycle, with its Houston-registration tag still clinging from 1975 A very good year, no? The bike is red and not quite pristine in that it sports a few tiny rust spots, but it is perfect for this rider _________________ The woman of the frontier made the best of her situation, for she had developed a respect for the land that gave her freedom as well as the courage to live in it. ~~~ from the perspective of Anne Seagraves |
