Hi. Has someone here been on the guided vacations they offer at the King Ranch in Texas?

Craig,

I've not ~ recall only a seemingly endless expanse of space (fenced? Surely, barring memory) when traveling northward with my grandparents from a vacation at Port Isabel Lighthouse. A Web-search reveals that much has changed since then.

There has been some questioning in the courts concerning the rights of the King Ranch to some of the acreage it holds. Again, however, this comes to me from slim evidence -- oral testimony -- so its truth or consequence is a matter for the wind to carry.

But well-come, and should you venture to this historic ranch, please share your experience and thoughts. Perhaps someone has more and recent knowledge to extend.

Holly
